Year 1 Take a Walk on the Wildside
Last week, the Year 1 children at Pine Ridge and Lorraine Infant Schools took a walk on the wildside with a very special visit from Quirks' Animal Roadshows.
The children have been learning about Dinosaurs as part of their topic work and were able to meet some of their scaly descendants. They were introduced to a Chameleon, a Bearded Dragon, a Salamander, a Tortoise, a Python and a Quail, which is one of the closest living relatives to the Tyrannosaurus Rex!
The children had a wonderful encounter and thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
