Maths Week at Pine Ridge and Lorraine

The children at Pine Ridge and Lorraine recently joined lots of other young people in England by taking part in maths week, its aim was to provide children with a positive image of mathematics.  This provided an opportunity for our pupils to see maths in a new light and make connections between different elements of learning.  We had comments saying, “this was the best week ever!” and “I didn’t realise we were doing maths; this is so much fun!”.

The children loved all the different activities on offer and enjoyed listening to lots of stories with maths focus.
