GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Winner and Award Assemblies held at Pine Ridge and Lorraine

Assemblies were held at both Pine Ridge and Lorraine this morning where the winners of the Hamper, Toy and Sweet Raffle prizes were announced!

Everyone was very excited in anticipation of the announcement!  Congratulations to all the children who won!

There was also a special mention for Oak Class at Pine Ridge who have been taking part in the Virtual Coast to Coast Run across England, following the path of Hadrian's Wall, a total of 117km!

Oak Class have reached a big milestone this week, by completing the equivalent distance of a marathon - 42.2km.  A total of 211 laps of the school field and playground have been completed, with a mere 75km or 376 laps to go!

What a fantastic accomplishment.  Keep going Oak Class, we know you can do it!
