GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

World Book Day 2023

Yesterday, the children at Pine Ridge and Lorraine dressed up as their favourite book character for World Book Day.  There were lots of activities taking place in our schools, the children particularly enjoyed the teacher book swap listening to different stories.  They took inspiration from ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ and went on a book hunt around the school.  They also had a parade to proudly show off their amazing costumes.

The week was then rounded off today with the children enjoying an extra special World Book Day lunch!
