GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Year 2 Visit Wellington Country Park

On Wednesday last week, Year 2 visited Wellington Country Park.  They explored the whole park, exploring the dinosaurs, feeding the ducks and geese along with their ducklings and petted the goats in the farm.  The children also took part in a 'Bug Detectives' workshop as part of our Wider Curriculum.  They investigated the habitats of lots of different minibeasts and discovered insects including worms, millipedes, spiders and even a Violet Ground Beetle!  We had a fantastic day enjoyed by all!
