GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

GLF Foundation Sponsored Fun Run

Firstly, we would like to take the opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU for sponsoring the children for the Rainbow-athon that took place last week.

The children came to school in a range of bright and bold outfits and had a fantastic time completing their fun run.  The children completed laps, each with a different activity involved, including walking, jogging, sprinting, skipping and jumping!

As a Federation, we have raised over £700.  This would not have been possible without your generous donations.  The GLF Foundation support children across GLF to take part in a range of different opportunities.  This year, Pine Ridge and Lorraine have received free tennis coaching as part of their PE lessons.  This has only been possible because of the money raised by events like ours.

As a result of your fantastic sponsorship, the class who raised the most money were rewarded with a Mufti Day!  Congratulations to Holly Class at Pine Ridge and Woodpeckers at Lorraine!
