Remembrance Day Assemblies at Pine Ridge & Lorraine Infant Schools

This morning, the pupils and staff at Pine Ridge and Lorraine Infant Schools observed a minutes silence in honour of Armistice Day.  This day marks the end of World War I and is a time when we remember all the servicemen and women who have fought for their country and all of those who sadly lost their lives.

The children laid the poppies they had made in a wreath during the assemblies to show their respect.
