GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Camberley Fire Station Visit Year 2 Children at Lorraine

This week, Year 2 pupils at Lorraine Infant School were very lucky to have a visit from the firemen at Camberley Fire Station.

The children listened intently as they were shown the different kit that the firefighters are required to wear when attending a call out.  This was followed by a tour around and inside the fire engine.  They were shown the different types of equipment and tools that the firefighters use to fight fires and rescue people.  There was great enthusiasm when it was the children's turn to use the hose!

We look forward to welcoming Camberley Fire Station to Pine Ridge next month!
