Year 1 get their Engines into Gear!

Over the next few weeks, the Year 1 children will become engineers and design and build their own cars!

To help them learn about how cars work, the children took a look at the teachers' cars in the car park.  They peeked under the bonnet, saw how cars have changed with new technology, and learned the difference between petrol and electric cars.

The children have begun to build their cars out of cardboard, using skewers for axles and circles for wheels.

We think they have done a fantastic job!
