The Hub (After School Club)
The Hub at Lorraine Infant School
The Hub is run by Pine Ridge & Lorraine Federation and Cordwalles Junior School and aims to provide high-quality wraparound after-school club for our families. It provides a range of stimulating and creative activities in a safe and friendly environment.
Here at The Hub, we provide after school care for children from Reception through Year 6. We are open every week during term-time. We are located at Lorraine Infant school hall and also have access to a large outdoor space within the school grounds. The Hub is run by school staff who provide a happy and fun environment where children can relax and play after their school day.
The club will be open during school term times only and will be closed for bank holidays and INSET days. A list of these dates can be found on the school websites. The club will only accept children that have received a registration mark on the official School register on any particular day. Please note that there is no wrap around care when the school finishes early on the last day of term.
All parents/carers must complete the Magicbooking registration, read and agreement to adhering to the terms of this policy prior to their child starting the The Hub provision.

Behaviour
Whilst attending The Hub children are expected to follow the school Behaviour Policy. Staff will consult with parents to formulate clear strategies for dealing with persistent inappropriate behaviour. If after consultation with parents/carers and the implementation of behaviour management strategies, a child continues to display inappropriate behaviour, the Headteacher may decide to exclude the child from future sessions. The reasons and processes involved will be clearly explained to the child and their parent/carer.
