GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Camberley Fire Station Visit Pine Ridge!

Last week, Year 2 pupils at Pine Ridge were very excited to welcome the firefighters from Camberley Fire Station to the school.

The children were shown the different items of clothing that the firefighters have to wear when attending an accident or a fire.  This was followed by a tour around and inside the fire engine.  They were shown the different types of equipment and tools that the firefighters use to fight fires and rescue people.  They were even lucky enough to have a turn using the hose!

A big thank you to Camberley Fire Station for visiting the children at both of our schools.  It is always a highly anticipated visit which everyone enjoys.
