GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.
Oak Class at Pine Ridge continue their quest to virtually run across Britain in one school year, following the path of Hadrian’s Wall.
Running every day, rain or shine, the children reached the marathon mark (42km) by Christmas. Now approaching the final couple of weeks of this epic journey the children have reached another landmark, passing 100km - meaning less than 17km to go.
