Sports Day at Pine Ridge and Lorraine!

We all recall the summer of 2012 “Super Saturday” with the London Olympics, but finally there has been a sporting event to trump and live longer in the memory with the annual Pine Ridge & Lorraine Infant School Sports Day!

Parents flocked to Cordwalles Junior School on Wednesday, as the sun shone down on the sporting stars of tomorrow performing today.  There was sprinting and relays, throwing and obstacle courses, the very amusing space hopper races and most importantly ice pops for our exhausted athletes at the end!

The children all really enjoyed themselves and everyone gave their best.  It was amazing to see so many of you there cheering them on, it really does make a huge difference, so thank you very much for taking the time to come.
