Science Week at PRL!
Last week, Pine Ridge and Lorraine took part in British Science Week! They learnt about a variety of scientists from all around the world. As the theme this year was ‘Change and Adapt’, Year 1 looked at how different animals adapt and camouflage themselves from their predator and prey. The children had a lot of fun designing butterflies and camouflaging them within the classroom.
In Robins and Holly Class, the children have been exploring various art mediums and sharing their favorite forms of art. They have embraced their inner artists by learning about famous artists and creating pieces inspired by their work. The children had fun experimenting with different tools to make unique marks and learned how to use them properly. They were excited to combine all of their knowledge to create their final masterpiece!
