Remembrance Day at Pine Ridge and Lorraine

Yesterday, Pine Ridge and Lorraine Infant Schools held Remembrance Day assemblies and observed a 2 minute silence in honour of Armistice Day.  This day marks the end of World War I and is a time when we reflect and commemorate all those who have served in the military past and present.

The children laid the poppies they had made in a wreath during the assemblies to show their respect.
