GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Heartwarming Visit to Residents at Corrina Lodge

We loved taking our Year 2 school council children from both Pine Ridge and Lorraine on a special minibus visit to Corrina Lodge Care Home in Camberley.

The children proudly hand delivered their handmade Christmas cards to residents, spreading festive cheer and bringing smiles all round.   This lovely experience reflected our school values of kindness and confidence, as the children chatted with residents and represented our schools so thoughtfully.

A big thank you to Corrina Lodge for the warm welcome - and for the squash and biscuits that were very much enjoyed!
