Stories, Shapes and Tie-Dye!

This half term, Year 1 have been busy in their learning.  They have been reading stories like Puffin Peter and Jaspers’ Beanstalk which has inspired their writing.  In maths, they have been recognising and partitioning numbers 1-10 as well as exploring the properties of 2D shapes.

In Wider Curriculum, we have been creating our own curtain looking at different materials, opaque vs transparent and designing fabric using paint and fabric markers to make repeating patterns and exploring tie-dye.
