Colourful Creations in Nursery!

Pine Ridge Nursery

N1 - Campbell Class have been exploring colours.  We have been noticing all the different colours around us and have been on colour hunts.  We have enjoyed listening to the story ‘Brown Bear, Brown Bear’.  We  have explored different types of ways to make marks using different materials such as pastels, paint and crayons.

N2 - Donaldson Class are all budding Artists!  We have been thinking about how we produce our art using different materials and shapes.  We explored the book ‘The Dot’ and we have created our own ‘dot’ pictures using a variety of different resources.  We have also been thinking about other types of artists such as a make up artist!  We have been very busy in our beauty salon!

Lorraine Nursery

N1 - Last week in Carle Class, we have been exploring colours and showing each other what our favourite colours are.  We have also been enjoying spending time in the garden whilst the weather has been lovely and sunny.

N2 - Last week in Murphy Class, we have been using different materials and resources to create different dot pictures. We have used cotton buds, dabbers, circle stickers, cotton wool and much more. The children in N2 now have their own framed artwork in the room which they are enjoying adding new artwork into their frames.
